A small waterfall called “Konjin-no-taki” in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. It was late winter when I took this shot–the trees were bare and it was a rather lonely scene. There were very few people in a normally lively hiking area. The quietness was refreshing–only the sound of the falling water could be heard. There was a wooden Shinto shrine in front of the waterfall.
