Kuzumochi are a type of mochi (Japanese rice cake made of mochigome, a short-grain japonica glutinous rice) with kuzuko (starch powder made from the root of the kudzu plant). It is traditionally served chilled, topped with kuromitsu (Japanese sugar syrup) and kinako (roasted soybean flour). Best served with hot green tea!
