Shiraito-no-taki or Shiraito Waterfall found in Fujinomiya City, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. Melted snow from Mt Fuji is what flows down the arched wall. The many tiny falls reminds one of silk threads, thus the name. Twenty meters tall and 150 meters wide, Shiraito-no-taki has been chosen as one of the 100 Best Waterfalls in the country. Early summer greens look beautiful against the whiteness of the flowing water.
